Parfaite Musafiri 11 years old is a Congolese refugee living in Rwamwanja Refugee Ressentlement Camp.
At the age of 2 months Parfaite was abandoned by her mother because of poor life and trauma caused by her illness of HIV.
For now Parfaite is living with her father and step mother.
In this regards therefore her life is in danger since both her parents are vulnerable also where they are unable to take good care for her illness. The consequences are that Parfaite is under high trauma levels caused by the poor life of family and her illness. She sometimes refuses to take medicines on time in accordance to the physician's prescription wishing to die rather than to live.
Beyond that, the community is discriminating her due to the permanent illness.
Therefore New Dawn Charity is helping Parfaite through counseling sessions and some basic needs.

Please help me get treatment for Macrocephaly.
Neema Devine is a 12 year old girl battling with a very dangerous illness known as Macrocephaly. She was abandoned by her daddy when she was still 9years old due to lack of money that was needed by the hospital to combat the unusual illness. And because of the ongoing instabilities in The Democratic Republic Of Congo, the mother fled to Uganda together with her where they live as refugees in Rwamwanja refugee resettlement camp. Life in the camp isn't at all easy and the mother does not only struggle for food but mostly with her daughter who is Macro cephalic. The illness has affected her dearly as in growth in stature in her general body since it wears out every new built cell causing the body to remain stunted.
The good news is that the hospital has promised that as long as Neema can afford to pay the operation bill which is 25,000$, her life will automatically be restored. Therefore Devine Neema is calling upon people with a good heart to support her raise this amount (25000$), in order to get treatment.

EZEKIA SIBOMANA is 12 years old, a Congolese refugee living in Rwamwanja resettlement refugee camp Uganda East Africa. He lost both parents during the ongoing wars in The Democratic Republic Of Congo his home country. After the loss of his biological parents, he started living with his grandmother who is also vulnerable in this case since she is a single parent and advanced in years. She cannot support her grandchildren because many times they sleep on empty stomachs due to abject poverty ravaging the home. And through NDC the good news is; Ezekia is now going through Counseling sessions where we aim at behavioral change and also facilitate him with some basic needs. And besides that our prayer is that he will soon go back to school.

Is a Congolese refugee living in Rwamwanja resettlement refugee camp. She was born in 2014 after her mother was forcefully indulged into a bloody sexual affair by a selfish and mercilessly man who ran away immediately after the act. Unfortunately when Susan was two months old, the mother also succumbed to death leaving her in total dilemma with no single parent to take care of her at such infancy stage. As a result, Susan was taken by an organization which promised full support. And after a few weeks without the organization’s satisfactory explanation, the poor baby found itself in the hands of Ms Dansy who is also a Congolese refugee and a widow living in the same camp. It is told that the caretaker was promised by the so called organization to be given full support since she accepted to be with the baby as vulnerable as it was to stay with it. But unfortunately after one year the organization stopped all activities it was doing in the camp meaning they could no longer be in position to support Susan.
Since the caretaker's status was also very shaky, widow and a refugee who also is not able to take care of her own children tried to seek intervention from various organizations and all was futile. Susan who is now seven years old has never gotten a chance of going to school like other children of her age. But the good news is; through the endeavors of New Dawn Charity Susan is now getting Psycho-social support which is not enough since she also needs other basic needs.

Gloria Is 9 years old. Lives in Rwamwanja refugee resettlement camp in Uganda East Africa. She is a child with special needs who is highly discriminated and neglected by both society and family. Her mother has six children who do follow Gloria and at the same time expecting the eighth, child. The father mysteriously fled the home with no reason and now they are counting four full consecutive months since he left them! They have never received any communication from him since he left one morning and went for his peasantry work as usual and has never returned home. And this has sparked a very big economic problem in the family since then leaving the expectant mother and the seven juveniles in total dilemma.
NDC is supporting the mother by giving her Counseling sessions at least once a week and also facilitates Gloria with some basic needs and hopes that people with a good heart will come in to support for a transformation of her life

I am Zabayo Antoinette 21years old and physically handicapped. Born in a vulnerable family since my daddy passed on when I was still a baby during wars in The Democratic Republic Of Congo. When my mother realized that life would not be easy for her since now she had become a single parent, decided to flee to Uganda for safety and left me with no one to support me in the home except the very little facilitation I would receive from the priests in the nearby parish.
But seven years later, because of the level of insecurity that continued to ravage our regions(DRC), by God's grace I happened to find myself in a refugee resettlement camp in Uganda a country that shares the border with my home country (DRC). Fortunately by God's grace I was able to reunite with my mother whom I had lost contact with for years in this same camp. Though I am physically handicapped, I am gifted in a number of areas for example, singing which I do well in my church, and hair dressing where I earn my living.
My dream is to empower other physically handicapped young women like me by training them how to do hair dressing so that they may not remain beggars for the rest of their life. I dream of having a salon and barbershop where my trainees (the physically handicapped) in the camp can come get trained in this craft for their self-sustainability. Hoping that when my dream is realized, will spark their self-esteem and value in their communities.
